*What Kind Of Driver Are We Looking For?*
* This is a Self-employed position for those looking for secure regular daily work _*(availability to work over the weekend is essential and you should not apply if you are not able to work at least one day over the weekend). *_Average 9-hour on-road routes are available 7 days a week. Load times in Knowsley are approximately 11:30am an In the run up to Christmas, Warrington will run an early morning wave at around 9am.
* Held a valid driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your driving license (No DR, DG, IN, MS or TT related endorsements)
* Pass a drug and alcohol test and a criminal record check (we pay for these).
* Self-employed status
* Minimum 19 years of age for insurance purposes
* Have a smartphone, battery pack and voice/data plan for use of the Amazon Flex app.
* Generally fit and healthy - the role is of a physical nature
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Can speak basic English
* Eye for detail
*What Does The Job Involve?*
* Safe & responsible driving
* Loading parcels on to the van
* No sortation - all routes are pre sequenced and pre-mapped. All you need to do is collect your parcels and you are ready to go!
* Maximum parcel weight of 25kg
* Approx 9hr shifts.
* Ablility to do approximately 22 drops per hour or more than 170 stops per day and is able to get in and out of the van numerous times throughout the day.
* Start times approx 11:30am, but may shift slightly due to volume changes.
* Parcel delivery around Warrington/Cheshire West/Merseyside areas on pre-planned routes.

_\*\*/\*Christmas rate effective 3rd November 2024 until 28th December 2024 on Nursery and Full routes. 3 x Training days paid at £108 per day. £10 daily incentive paid weekly if driver completes all routes assigned for the week paid 10 days before route day (our working week in Sunday to Saturday). Incentive is paid number days worked in week x £10. Weekly incentive also forfeited if the driver damages the van during the week of pay._
