We are seeking a dedicated *Locum Veterinary Surgeon* to join our practice in *Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear* on a temporary basis. This role is available from *8th October 2024 to 31st January 2025*, requiring a commitment of five days per week. The position involves providing consultations, performing surgeries, and delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and well-equipped environment.
*Location*: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear
*Contract*: Temporary (08/10/2024 to 31/01/2025)
*Working Hours*: 5 days per week
*Shift Times*: 08:30 - 18:00
*Key Responsibilities*
* Conduct consultations and diagnose a wide range of small animal conditions.
* Perform routine surgeries and provide ongoing patient care.
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets health and treatment plans.
* Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of clinical care.
* Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
*Requirements*
* MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
* Strong diagnostic, surgical, and consultation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
