*Key Responsibilities*:
* Provide high-quality nursing care for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring a high standard of care and welfare.
* Assist in surgical procedures, monitor anaesthetics, and provide post-operative care.
* Conduct nurse consultations, offering advice on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and routine procedures.
* Work collaboratively with the veterinary team, providing support in diagnostics, treatments, and patient management.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring excellent communication with both the veterinary team and clients.
* Ensure the clinic runs smoothly during your shifts, contributing to the overall efficiency and care standards of the practice.
* Participate in a *1:4 weekend rota* with *TOIL (Time Off In Lieu)* for any weekend shifts worked.
*Key Requirements*:
* *Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)* qualification or equivalent.
* Experience in a veterinary practice, with confidence in handling a variety of cases.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering high standards of patient care.
* Strong organizational skills, able to manage a varied caseload and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to embrace further training and development opportunities, including CPD and Certificates.
* Flexibility to work within the weekend rota (1:4) and commitment to maintaining the high standards of the clinic.
