We are looking for a skilled and compassionate *Locum Veterinary Surgeon* to join our team in *Newton Abbot, Devon* on a temporary basis. The position will run from *4th October 2024 to 30th November 2024* and requires a commitment of five days per week. The role involves routine surgeries, general consultations, and delivering exceptional care to our patients.
*Location*: Newton Abbot, Devon
*Contract*: Temporary (04/10/2024 to 30/11/2024)
*Working Hours*: 5 days per week
*Shift Times*: 08:00 - 18:30
*Key Responsibilities*
* Carry out general consultations and a variety of small animal surgeries.
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal conditions.
* Ensure effective communication with clients regarding treatment plans and options.
* Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of patient care.
* Keep detailed and accurate medical records for all patients.
*Requirements*
* MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
* Strong clinical and surgical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
