Rate 18p/h Casual – (Agreed wage)
*Requirements:*
* Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
* 18 TONNE
* Rigid Lorry
* CPC Drivers
* EU Operations
* Proven experience as an HGV Driver, with a clean driving record
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
* - Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
* - Load and unload cargo as needed
* - Follow all traffic laws and regulations
* - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
* - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
* - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
* - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
* - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Truck Driver
* - Ability to drive various types of trucks, including flatbeds
* - Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
* - Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* - Strong communication and customer service skills
