As a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering excellent veterinary care in a dynamic and welcoming practice. You will handle a mix of operations and consultations, with opportunities to work both collaboratively with the team and independently during sole charge shifts.
*Employment Type*: Locum (January 2025 Ongoing)
*Key Responsibilities*:
* Perform routine surgeries and medical procedures.
* Carry out consultations, diagnosing and treating a range of conditions.
* Work independently during sole charge shifts (two afternoons a week).
* Maintain clear and detailed patient records.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide advice on pet health and well-being.
*Working Hours*:
* 4 days a week.
* Shifts: 9am - 6:30pm.
* No out-of-hours (OOH), no Sundays, and no bank holidays.
*Requirements*:
* MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* Experience in handling both consultations and surgeries.
* Confidence in working independently during sole charge shifts.
* Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
