I am looking for some childcare for my 6 year old son with ASD and PDA. He is currently in mainstream school but awaiting an EHCP. He needs quite close supervision especially with other children but he is a chatty and sweet boy. He loves dinosaurs, sensory play and being active. I am looking for wraparound childcare from Sept 2024 as I work full time and holiday care going forward. Ideally childcare between 8am and 6pm where pick up and feed him tea is required. He currently attends school in Hoole and we live in Northwich. I commute to Blackpool 3 days a week for work so I can be a bit flexible on 5 days requirement. If anyone can accommodate him for wrap-around care please get in touch.
I would like him to have a chance to build a relationship with a carer and have a long term arrangement which would give me the support I need to enable me to finish my degree if I decide to go back. Currently some driving for school runs would be required (fuel costs can be negotiated) but I expect he will be moving to a school closer to where we live. For information: I live on a canal boat. Childminder or nanny would need to be Ofsted registered.
