Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting Concrete, Operating a Grab Wagon and Aggregate materials to various locations. This position requires a valid HGV Class 2 License, CPC and experience on a Grab Wagon or Bottle Concrete Mixer and Tipper driving.
Training for operation of Concrete Bottle Mixer can be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload concrete and aggregates
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols
Experience:
- HGV Class 2 License
- Up to date CPC
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in Concrete Bottle Mixer and Tipper driving
- Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
