Role: Finance - Bid Estimator
Location: Bournemouth
Hybrid: 2 days office, 3 day WFH
Salary: Up to £45k + 5% bonus + training & development budget

In this role, you'll work closely with the Bid Manager, Finance, and Sales teams to lead the estimating bid process, collaborating with key stakeholders to gather, condense, and present crucial information. You'll develop and deliver accurate cost estimates based on Bid Engineering parameters, utilizing current norms and rates.
Additionally, you'll manage the collection and tracking of cost inputs, ensuring transparent version control and the timely completion of estimates within the Tender Template and Pricing Document. You'll also be responsible for applying risk, warranty, margin, and inflation adjustments, ensuring accuracy by working closely with the Finance Manager to incorporate up-to-date rates in the tender.
This role will be perfect if you have:
- A CIMA or ACCA professional accounting background and be fully or part-qualified
- Agility, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Is focused on accountancy and finance, with considerable use of Excel and technical systems
- Offers considerable stakeholder engagement; you'll be the interface between sales, bids and international customers
