Procurement Heads’ Industrial Practice is working with a renowned railway organisation in seeking a Procurement Specialist. This role is ideal for a procurement professional with experience in indirect sourcing categories, contract management, and supplier relationship development.
The Procurement Specialist will oversee procurement sourcing activities for categories including office supplies, travel, marketing, IT, and more. Key responsibilities include negotiating and drafting contracts, managing supplier relationships, and supporting internal stakeholders on procurement best practices.
Key accountabilities:
- Manage sourcing activities and supplier on-boarding.
- Draft and negotiate contracts and support contract managers on commercial activities.
- Organise the annual Supplier Day and assist with internal procurement training.
- Ensure all procurement processes align with the Concession Agreement requirements.
Skills and Experience:
- CIPS qualification (desirable or in progress).
- Proven experience as a Buyer with indirect category focus.
- Strong negotiation, contract drafting, IT literacy (Excel, Word), and responsible procurement understanding.
- Professionalism, effective communication, solution-oriented mindset, and high ethical standards.
