Salary: 45,000 + 500 P/M Car Allowance + 17.5% Annual Bonus

What you'll be doing:
- Oversee daily operations of the waste transfer station
- Manage site team and ensure safe handling procedures in line with company requirements
- Coordinate waste receipt, sorting, and dispatch processes
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits
- Maintain accurate waste tracking and documentation
- Manage site maintenance, including equipment and vehicles
- Handle financial reporting and P+L/CAPEX budgeting for the facility
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare required reports
- Optimise station efficiency and identify improvement opportunities
What we're looking for:
- Extensive experience within waste management
- IOSH Managing Safely certification
- Experience managing teams in a waste handling environment
- Technical knowledge of waste classification and handling
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Leadership qualification (CMI or ILM)
- Familiarity with transfer station operations and equipment
