Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager (Regulated Service & Resources) for a Local Authority Client based in East London.
In this role, you will oversee Ofsted registration for supported accommodation providers, conduct quality assurance visits, and ensure compliance with regulations to maintain the highest standards of care for children and young people.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
- Oversee the registration process for supported accommodation providers and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform inspections of children's homes to evaluate and enhance the quality of care and support provided.
- Ensure accommodation providers maintain up-to-date compliance documents and adhere to Ofsted standards.
- Work collaboratively to ensure stable placements for children and address any issues impacting their care.
- Provide guidance and training on compliance and quality assurance processes to staff and accommodation providers.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Demonstrated experience in ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant standards in the children's care sector.
- Experience in managing teams or projects, particularly in the context of children's services or social care.
- Experience in reviewing, analysing, and maintaining compliance documents and policies.
- Background in training staff on compliance, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in liaising with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to facilitate compliance and quality improvement.
What's on offer:
Salary: 46ph
may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
