Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Rosyth-based client on a full-time permanent basis!
Working across a variety of mechanical products including motors and generators, the successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Conducting in-depth quality inspections during numerous stages of manufacturing
- Completing and updating relevant paperwork and documentation
- Producing key reports for different stakeholders
- Fault-finding and subsequent repairs
- Contributing to the improvement of internal processes
- Complying with set standards within the manufacturing and repair processes
The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer will have at least 5 years of experience within a QC/QA position, along with:
- HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience working to standards including IEEE, NEMA, ISO 9001
- The ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
