A client of mine based in Medway is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. As an Accounts Assistant, you will have strong experience in processing and raising Sales Invoices, acting as a Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions.
Duties of the Accounts Assistant:
- You will be assisting in the financial functions for new project details and contract sales orders.
- You will be completing contract sales invoices, purchase orders, checking invoices against the purchase order and issuing credit notes.
- You will be handling the bank reconciliation and running debtors reports weekly.
- Processing credit card expenses and ensuring all receipts have been provided to claim.
- Running VAT returns.
- Running supplier payment runs weekly.
- Assisting finance and HR with adhoc administrative duties acting as a support function.
Experience of the Accounts Assistant:
- Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control experience.
- Strong IT experience especially in Microsoft suite.
- Strong organisation skills coupled with attention to detail.
