Key responsibilities: Process Development Engineer
- Developing and optimising processes for laser-based products from concept through NPI, test and into production
- Conducting thorough root cause analyses to identify issues within the production line
- Develop, implement and document permanent solutions to increase yield and productivity
- Champion lean 6 sigma and 8D methodologies to understand problems and implement corrective actions either within production or design
- Work closely with R&D teams to redesign optical / laser systems that are fit for manufacture
- Ownership and accountability for resolving issues, implementing and signing off defined processes to ensure quality of products and services across the business
