About the Specifications Technologist job
The purpose of your role will be to work as a key member of the NPD team, you will be responsible for creating and gaining approval on all finished product specifications and artwork within the business.
Key tasks
- Create and translate ingredient declarations into product passports, templates, or retailer formats.
- Oversee and ensure timely completion of artwork, meeting key deadlines, as well as the generation of compliant pack copy for artwork.
- Maintain accurate product specifications in company and retailer systems.
- Assist with NPD/technical documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
About You
The successful candidate shall possess a minimum of 1 years experience within a food manufacturing environment and knowledge of retailer technical systems as well as a relevant food degree.
- Competent with mathematics and manages time and workload efficiently.
- An excellent communication at all levels both written and verbally.

The Specifications Technologist job is based in Monmouthshire, South Wales and is paying up to £35,000 per annum according to your experience. This is a permanent full time role, with 2 days per week working from home and a small element of travel.
The package includes 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), Pension with a total contribution of 8%, Life Insurance based on 2 x salary.
The working hours are Monday to Friday and is a 40-hour working week.
