We are looking for a motivated Bid Manager to lead and manage bids within our Clients Sales & Marketing team. This role is key to ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, winning bids for both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities of a BID Manager:
- Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality bids.
- Own the full bid process, ensuring compliance and due diligence.
- Collaborate on Win Strategy and develop strong customer-focused themes.
- Capture customer requirements and align bids with company strategy.
- Manage bid plans and schedules, leading cross-functional teams.
- Oversee proposal quality, editorial content, and copywriting.
- Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams post-contract.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of bid processes.
Skills & Experience of a BID Manager:
- 2+ years of proven success in leading bids.
- Strong team leadership and collaboration skills.
- Experience with bids >£1M in value.
- Financially literate, excellent copywriting, and planning abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple bids under pressure.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and organised.
- Excellent communicator and team player.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
