Job Title: Cook
Location: Outskirts of Thetford, Norfolk
Salary: £11.94 per hour
Role Overview We are seeking a Cook to join our team at a beautiful location on the outskirts of Thetford. There are both part-time (20 hours, Monday and Friday) and full-time (40 hours, 5 days per week) opportunities available. Shifts typically run from 8am-2pm, 2pm-8:30pm, or 8am-8:30pm. You will generally have Saturdays off and an additional day during the week.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and cook meals to ensure high quality and excellent presentation.
- Comply with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, including maintaining proper documentation.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets hygiene standards.
- Follow the cleaning schedule to maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and appliances.
Qualifications & Skills - Previous catering experience is required.
- Health and safety training or relevant qualifications.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety protocols.
- Attention to detail, particularly regarding cooking times and temperatures.
- Ability to adapt to guest needs and work as part of a team.
- Strong initiative, discipline, and passion for delivering great food.
