Job Title: Cabinet Maker/Joiner
40,000 - 46,000 - Permanent
47.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri) - Potential opportunity of overtime advised on a weekly basis.
25 days annual leaver + bank holidays

Are you passionate about creating exquisite bespoke joinery and looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer and installer of bespoke joinery, is searching for a dedicated Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join their dynamic team.
The Job:
The work we undertake is very much a manual and physical job with lifting of large, heavy and sometimes awkward items so it is important that the applicant is physically fit to undertake the work. The work will be very diverse, manufacturing a wide variety of cabinetry and joinery items, including but not limited to the following:
- Reception desks
- Bars and serveries
- Kitchens
- Wardrobes
- Seating
- Wall and ceiling paneling
- Credenzas
- Display units
You would be working with a wide range of materials including real wood veneers, solid timber, MDF, laminate, melamine boards, glass, stone, metalwork, Corian and other solid surface materials.
Competencies
Operation of a panel saw, spindle moulder, planer and thicknesser
Use of handheld routers, jigsaws, planers, saws, and general handheld power tools
Experience in veneering is preferred but not essential
Experience in Corian and other solid surface fabrication is preferred but not essential
Experience in laminating
Operation of drum sanders and edge banders is preferred but not essential
Spraying experience is not required but if the candidate has spraying experience this will be looked upon positively
Reading of workshop drawings
Construction of cabinetry and joinery items such as the items listed above
