AOI Operator
We are looking for skilled AOI Operators to join our team, working with 2D & 3D Mirtec AOI systems to validate complex PCBA products. As an AOI Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting PCB assemblies and ensuring they meet IPC manufacturing standards at levels 2 & 3. You will play a key role in the production workflow, providing feedback to engineers and contributing to product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with engineers to validate first-off inspections according to IPC or J-STD standards as an AOI Operator.
- Performing full batch inspections following IPC or J-STD guidelines.
- Documenting process indicators and product faults as part of your duties as an AOI Operator.
- Reading and understanding manufacturing drawings for build conformance.
- Using our computer-based system for time booking and recording production notes.
Skills Required:
- Flexibility, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential for an AOI Operator.
- Knowledge of IPC standards or current certification.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Experience with AOI programming and debugging.
- Ability to rework SMT components.
- Familiarity with X-Ray inspection equipment.
Core Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am 4:00 pm
(39-hour week)
