We are a family run chain of 4 award winning Gastro Pubs. We are looking for a key member to join the pub management team and who will be expected to support the manager and deputy managers in many aspects of the day to day running of the pub.
Being an Assistant Manager is an ideal opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of every aspect of pub life. We see our assistant managers as the first step on the pub management career ladder and we always try to promote from within when we can, so this position could lead to other opportunities within the company.
The right candidate should have the following skills
- An assistant pub manager must have good organisational and leadership skills
- You must have presence of mind and should be cordial towards customers
- You should also be firm and tactful in any disputes or trouble
- You must be confident, motivated and plan things well
- You should be willing to work on holidays and for long hours
