Sous Chef, B&I N1 London 40k Monday to Fridays, daytime only!
Our client is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sous Chef to support the running of the kitchen at this small but busy site based in N1.
Catering for staff dining as well as hospitality, the kitchen provides the food for a caf area as well as staff restaurant and some hospitality. All food is freshly prepared and based on up to date trends and concepts.
So what will you be doing? As the Sous Chef, you will
Take responsibility and manage the salad section - creating exciting boxed salads and bowl salads
Produce hospitality food for the site
Support with paperwork, ordering and stock take
Ensure compliance and due diligence in the kitchen
Support the Head Chef with the running of the kitchen
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 3/3.30pm 40 hours per week
What we are looking for in a candidate:
A strong Sous Chef with a genuine passion for food and customer service
Experience in B&I catering ideally
Ability to take responsibility for the kitchen and day to day running
Good admin as well as understanding of due diligence, H&S and Food Safety
Able to work well within a team as well as use initiative
Attention to detail and presentation
Flexibility and a positive attitude
