Catering Assistant
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and presentation for catering events/ school meals.
- Set up and break down event spaces, including tables and chairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of catering equipment and supplies.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of food.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth operations during events.
- Ability to Commute.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a school hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations(preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- food and hygiene certificate(must have, can be completed through the job post)

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Experience:
- school catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Catering: 1 year (not essential but nice to have)
