We are working with an award winning Education provider in the area of Bridgwater, Somerset. They are looking for a Coffee House Manager for their up and coming Cafe. We are looking for somebody with a passion for baking, a talent for working with young people, and an appreciation for local produce. The role combines day-to-day management of the Coffee House, hands-on baking, and working alongside students. This is a new role as they are going through a phase of expansion. The role is term time only over 41 weeks.
Main Duties
- Baking and Menu Planning
- Day-to-Day Management of the Coffee House
- Student Support: Work closely with students to support their independent learning and provide them with work experience opportunities.
- Local Produce: Collaborate with local producers and suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Person Spec
- Experience in Baking: Strong skills in baking cakes and other baked goods.
- Team Leadership: Experience in managing a small team.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage stock, plan menus, and maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Flexibility: Able to adapt to the needs of the coffee house, students, and the community.
- Creativity: The desire and talent to develop the cafe
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Salary: 24-30K per annum DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours Term Time only - 41 weeks per year
