Job Title: Artworker
Location: Southend-on-Sea, SS2
Salary: £25,396 per annum
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent / Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
About the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled Artworker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer artwork to a print-ready standard, ensuring smooth workflow integration, and liaising with clients for proof approval. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize customer artwork for print, ensuring it meets all required standards.
- Manage the proofing process by sending artwork to customers and following up for approvals.
- Use administrative software to book approved jobs into the workflow system.
- Preflight print files using PitStop/Acrobat.
- Liaise with customers to address artwork issues and respond to proofing-related queries.
Role Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Illustrator and InDesign).
- Familiarity with spot colours, overprint processes, and paper sizes.
- Excellent communication skills for handling client interactions.
Please note, this is not a creative/design role but focuses on preparing pre-designed artwork for print production.
