Key Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years experience in safety, specifically within the mining industry
- NOSA SAMTRAC or equivalent NQF 5 Safety Qualification
- Certified as a Safety Officer (CHSO) and registered with SACPCMP
- Strong background in construction safety and OHSA compliance
- Proficiency in Safety Documentation tools and computer applications
- Excellent communication skills
- A valid drivers license
- Flexibility to work weekends when required
Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with OHS guidelines and company standards
- Foster a culture of safety awareness across the project
- Lead the implementation of the Safety Management System
- Compile risk assessments and Safe Working Procedures in line with MHSA standards
- Conduct safety audits and evaluate SHE management systems
- Participate in risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment
