Do you want to help grow and support a collaborative and industry leading sustainability and energy team, within an established practice?Do you have a passion for sustainable, flexible, adaptable and future proofed design, and are looking to make a real difference within the built environment?Pick Everard are looking to appoint an Associate Climate Resilience & Adaptation Consultant to help drive forward our growing requirements to integrate climate resilience and adaptation practices in our work. The successful candidate would be expected to respond positively and independently to opportunities for climate resiliency and adaptation practice, either as generated by work across the practice, or by self-sufficiently identifying and working to secure new work with new clients, with support from the wider S&E team.You would need to have technical strength in a wide range of climate risk assessment, recommendations and technical report writing, be a commanding advocate for the application of the principles based on examples of built environment work, and be client facing for both internal and external audiences.Find out what it is like to work at Pick Everard here: Life at PickEverard - Pick EverardAbout You Our ideal Associate Climate Resilience & Adaptation Consultant must have: A solid knowledge of current climate resiliency and adaptation standards and legislation (UK and Europe), and good and best practice Strong understanding of the built environment sector e.g. commerciality, project roles and stages, across buildings and infrastructure Relevant degree and/or post graduate qualifications, and/or suitable other knowledge and experience A positive and active outlook within the team, with a ‘can do’ attitudeIt would be nice for you to have: Membership or working towards membership with relevant industry bodiesAbout UsOur nationwide multidisciplinary team of 650+ work collaboratively to deliver outstanding places and spaces that create lasting value for local communities.
