Including; conducting risk assessment, treatment interventions, supervision, case management and delivering training.You will be able to work across more than one establishment, providing variety to your daily role and supporting continued professional development through breadth of experience.With effect from 1 December 2024, the SPS is reducing its full-time contractual hours from 37 to 35 hours per week without a reduction in pay.Responsibilities:To provide risk assessment and OLR case management, including preparation of Risk Management Plans.To supervise high intensity offending behaviour programmes.To communicate complex psychological information to RMT’s and parole boards as required.To identify and ensure CPD requirements for Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration are met and attend CPD training in psychological practice as required by psychological services.To provide high intensity individual psychological therapy intervention work.To provide line management to Assistant Psychologists (AP) and where required, to provide supervision to Forensic Psychologists in Training as a Designated Supervisor.Person SpecificationSPS recruitment and selection practice is based on the fundamentals of our Behavioural Competency Framework.
