You will all use a Motivational Interviewing approach where you will act in partnership with children and their families to achieve sustainable change and improved outcomes for children. You will be supported in this by a multi-disciplinary team that includes adult mental health workers, drug and alcohol recovery workers, and adult domestic abuse workers, supported by our practice methods. This is an exciting and creative time to join us in Family Safeguarding, and we would welcome applications from a diverse range of workers to enhance our existing workforce.We currently have vacancies in our teams based at Hereward Hall in March, Stanton House in Huntingdon and Fawcett House in Cambridge. Please note the Council is currently undergoing an accommodation improvement programme that will result in some office moves over the next 12-18 months, and the Huntingdon and March teams will operate from a different location within County. In most cases the new location will be close to the current one, but the Recruiting Manager will discuss this with you if you are selected for interview.
