We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated HGV Technician to join our thriving business as a Yard Technician.
Within this role you will be responsible for repairs and inspections to our HGV vehicles and trailers on our yard.
This role, which is based in our superhub in Hinckley, will offer the successful candidate a chance to be part of the UKs leading parcel delivery business. This role will be working days covering a continental shift pattern of 4 on 4 off on days 06.40 – 19:00.
As the successful candidate, you will report directly to the Workshop Manager and be a key member of the team. Working in a time critical distribution environment, your key accountabilities will include:
● Carrying out smaller repairs to DPD’s fleet of Mercedes Benz tractor and trailer units.
● Mechanical and Electrical repairs on vehicles.
