A large manufacturing concern and part of a listed group, leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Snr Factory Manager.
Minimum Engineering degree required (Electrical; Chemical; Mechanical or Metallurgical)
You will be expected to work hand-in-hand with the CEO of the organization to ensure optimal productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support CEO in operational management and team development of the factory
- Excellent maintenance skills required
- Recruitment, training, and development of personnel
- Asset preservation through the development, implementation, and management of effective systems
- Develop and implement best practices in all areas of the factory
- Being a credible leader that develops and guides operational teams and individuals in achieving targets
- Driving continuous improvements and waste elimination to reduce costs and improve quality
- Product development to ensure sustained fashionable and value-for-money product ranges
- Project management of capital projects
- Development of new products and technology
- Financial control of factory costs
- Safety and risk management in terms of legislation
- Sourcing of new local and international suppliers
- Identification and development of future leaders in the business
- Ensure the factory is focused on agreed key performance indicators

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Metallurgist) or equivalent.
- Previous Millwright / Electrical Qualification will be advantageous but not a necessity.
- Excellent Managerial Skills
- Min 10+ years solid & traceable track record in a similar position.
