YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Transformation department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline our software development lifecycle and enhance our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems
Implement and manage container orchestration platforms
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing
Willingness to work regularly in our office on site in Renningen-Malmsheim, there is a remote part but it is not a remote job.
YOUR PROFILE
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field
Required Skills
Cloud Platforms
Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
CI/CD
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Argo CD etc.)
Automation
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Containers
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager)
Monitoring and Logging
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch)
Version Control
Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
Networking
Understanding of networking concepts and cloud networking (VPC, security groups, load balancers)
Security
Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools
