The Infrastructure/DBA is responsible for managing and maintaining the organizations IT infrastructure, with a focus on databases. This role ensures that systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance. It involves database administration, system monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL) to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Manage server hardware, network systems, and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability. Implement and monitor security measures to protect databases and infrastructure against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities. Monitor system performance using various tools to proactively identify and resolve issues. Plan and execute database upgrades, patching, and maintenance to keep systems up to date. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3 years in database administration and IT infrastructure management.
