Contract Drafting and Negotiation Contract Management Maintain comprehensive records of all contract-related documents, including agreements, amendments, and correspondence. Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Address and resolve contract-related disputes and issues. Liaise with legal counsel, contractors, and suppliers to resolve conflicts and ensure fair outcomes. Evaluation of each contract individually Opening up all local accounts with regards to, accommodation, fuel, gas, telephones etc. Cost Management (Budget monitoring, Cost reporting and financial analysis) Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless contract administration and cost management. Facilitate communication between parties to address any contract or cost-related issues. Contractual Compliance: Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that project activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting contracts and costs. Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process, including the evaluation of bids and the selection of contractors and suppliers. Ensure that procurement activities align with contract terms and budget constraints. Best Practices: Develop and implement best practices for contract administration and cost management. Contribute to the creation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Training: Provide training and guidance to junior staff and project team members on contract management and cost control practices. Grade 12 or equivalent. 5-7 years of experience in contract administration and cost management within the construction industry. Experience with structural, mechanical, piping, and platework projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of contract management principles and cost control practices. Proficiency in contract management and financial software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with contractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
