On a part-time basis (set hours per week), the successful candidate will be required to: Provide clinical care for in-patients with Advanced HIV Disease, complicated TB or other infectious diseases (Adults, pregnant and breastfeeding women, children and Adolescents) referred to you by Anova & Department of Health clinicians from public clinics and district hospitals. Provide clinical care to referred out-patients with Advanced HIV Disease complicated TB or other infectious diseases at selected district hospitals. Conduct teaching ward rounds for in-patients with Advanced HIV disease, complicated TB or other infectious diseases at district hospitals in Johannesburg and Sedibeng. Provide tele-mentoring and in-person mentoring for clinicians (Department of Health & Anova) in need of guidance on clinical management of patients with Advanced HIV Disease, complicated TB or other infectious disease. Support establishment and maintenance of functional up and down referral networks between district hospitals and surrounding/referring clinics. Identify training needs for DOH & Anova clinicians and conduct in-service training as required. Support access to Continuous Medical Education platforms, webinars, publications on Advanced HIV Disease, TB and other infectious diseases for Anova and Department of Health clinicians. Support development of the Advanced HIV Disease training curriculum and slides Advanced HIV Disease includes clients with low CD4 nd line ART regimen; DR-TB, unstable co-morbidities, renal and liver impairment, Adverse Drug Reactions etc. · Qualification as Infectious Disease or Internal Medicine Specialist · Expert knowledge of Advanced HIV Disease, TB and other common infectious diseases · Excellent communication & interpersonal skills · Great training and mentoring skills · Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
