Purpose of the Job: The Graphic Designer will assist in implementing and supporting the advertising strategy for community
shopping centers. The candidate will need their transport to visit sites weekly and engage with tenants
to create content for advertising.
Key Responsibilities: - Content Creation:
- Design social media graphics that engage and attract our target audience.
- Develop digital assets for marketing campaigns, such as banners, email templates, and website
elements.
- Brand Development:
- Assist in maintaining and evolving branding elements like logos, colour schemes, and
typography.
- Ensure consistency across all visual content.
- Design Execution:
- Create effective layouts considering basic design principles.
- Handle basic design requests, including image editing and resizing.
- Software Proficiency:
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft 360 for design tasks.
- Manage design files for print and digital production. 5. Project Management:
- Assist in managing multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are on time.
- Collaboration:
- Work with the marketing team to conceptualize design ideas.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for promotional campaigns.
- Trend Analysis:
- Stay informed on basic design trends and technologies.
- Contribute fresh ideas to improve visual content.
- Print & Digital Production:
- Prepare design files for both print and digital media.
Skills & Competencies: - Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and
basic knowledge of Canva and WordPress.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to produce innovative designs with a keen artistic sense.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to present design concepts.

Experience & Qualifications: - Education: Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of digital design experience with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and knowledge of Figma.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
- Web Design: Basic experience with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of basic marketing strategies and social media.
