Join an exciting opportunity as a Part Time Accounts Assistant in Henley-on-Thames, where you'll work with a diverse estate boasting stunning landscapes and a rich history. You will be integral in supporting financial operations within a dynamic and well-established estate that offers various activities and services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions, including sales and purchase ledgers, and maintain control accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage month-end procedures efficiently.
- Process and resolve queries related to invoices and ledgers.
- Monitor and post payments and receipts while conducting statement reconciliations.
- Prepare and process monthly BACS runs and assist with financial reporting.
- Prepare, complete, and submit online VAT returns in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly payroll for outsourcing.
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role is essential.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and familiarity with accounting software; training will be provided on KeyPrime Advanced.
Salary
The salary for this position is up to £24/hour DOE.
Location
This role is based in Henley-on-Thames, with easy commutes from nearby towns such as Marlow, Reading, Wallingford, and Thame.
