Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Luxury Tour Operator client who are looking to hire an Operations Assistant to join their team.
In this role the Operations Assistant will be responsible for the administration tasks of a travel reservations, therefore excellent admin and attention to detail skills are essential. Full training will be offered to the successful candidate, if coming from outside of the travel industry.
This is a fully office-based role in Bucks, working Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Managing the preparation of travel documents
- Collecting customer payments
- Carrying out any special requests from customers as part of their concierge service
- Supporting the Operations Manager in any adhoc tasks
- Ensuring the post sales process of the reservation runs smoothly
You must have:
- A passion for the travel industry
- Minimum 2 years experience of working in an office environment
- Excellent administration skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised and hard working
