Main purpose of the job: An exciting opportunity exists in Stellenbosch, seeking a skilled qualified Social Worker to join a dynamic team to support Student Development.
Description: Bergzicht Training & Development, based in the centre of Stellenbosch, is a 32-year-old, successful non-profit organization that trains unemployed people from local previously disadvantaged communities in basic relevant skills enabling self-leadership; provides them support in finding full-time employment as well as offers mentoring and support to all graduates for their first year of employment.
Required Minimum Qualification: Degree in Social Work.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Must be a qualified social worker with at least 15 years of experience and registered with the SACSSP. Excellent administration and EXCEL computer proven experience with good verbal and writing communication skills are essential. Driver's License with own transport is essential. Bilingual (English & Afrikaans essential).
Responsibilities:
- Student development & mentoring support including psycho-social support to students and alumni.
- Training Facilitation.
- Monitoring of Work integrated learning & Job retention.
- Management of student database and monthly statistics and recordkeeping & reporting & MME.
- Stakeholder engagements & local NGO Networking.
- Recruitment & Selections of candidates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From R30000,00 per month.
