Job Overview
The role is responsible for analysing and interpreting data related to the organization’s performance in order to inform strategic decision-making. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Sales Director and other business stakeholders to ensure that there are effective sales reports as and when required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Annually assist the Sales Director and the Sales Managers (Incl. medical devices) to create product-based sales targets for the sales team for the following year. Quarterly adjustments as per Financial Forecast results.
- In collaboration with Sales Director and Sales Managers (Incl. medical devices) maintain customer (territory) and product portfolio mapping by sales representative.
- Convert data received from Wholesalers monthly and send to Global SAP BI team to maintain the Wholesaler Cube.
- Update mapping for the WS and Sales Cube as and when necessary, e.g. new customers, new products, attribute 3 changes.
- Calculate sales team incentives Monthly/Quarterly/Annually.
- Continuous improvement of the various worksheets – Territory/Product/Rep/Region mapping tables.
- Provide the sales team with weekly updates – Sales vs Target YTD/MTD and 12-month unit sales trend.
- Assist the Sales Director/Sales Managers (Incl. medical devices) with adhoc reporting requests from time to time, e.g. Cycle Meetings and Sales Conference, Forecasting meetings.
- Collaborate with Sales Director/medical Devices BUM to build a monthly sale report.
- Continuous improvement of various reports e.g. formats, content.
- Compile Waste Management reports for participating customers.
- Back up for Market Intelligence manager in budgeting, forecasting and MTS processes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Tertiary Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience in preparing and analysing sales force data (CRM), evaluating performance against targets.
- Solid understanding of financial systems and reporting processes.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant databases and data extraction techniques.
