Job Title: Power BI Developer
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time hours to support our data analytics and reporting needs.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data visualisation requirements.
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions using Power BI.
- Create data models, DAX calculations, and measures in Power BI.
- Optimise report performance and troubleshoot issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of data visualisation principles.
- Proficiency in SQL queries and database management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and M queries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Power BI or related field.
- Experience with other data visualisation tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with full-time hours. The work will primarily be conducted in an office setting, with the possibility of remote work based on project requirements.
