Our client in Pretoria is recruiting for a Senior Frontend Angular Developer to join their team.
We are looking for a UI Front End Developer who will join the ATG toolchain domain. Responsibilities include:
- Development of features in collaboration with external design and development partners in Munich.
- Working in an integrated Agile environment.
- Meet with end users and gather requirements (Refinements).
- Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives.
- Review and present proposed system solutions to Business & IT Product Owners.
- Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements and standards.
- System testing, implementation, and audits/quality assurance.
- Participate in regular Scrum meetings via MS Teams (Daily, Planning, Estimation, Refinement, Review, Retro).
- Liaise with stakeholders and team members.
- Support existing solutions and DevOps.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in Angular, HTML, Typescript, CSS.
- Experience with Npm Package Manager, RXJS, REST, Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with build tools and pipelines, unit testing, and Git.
- Experience with testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, Postman, Newman, Cypress, Selenium, Junit, Robot, Jest.
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
- Experience with Confluence / Jira.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools.
- UX Experience.
- Familiarity with AZURE Cloud, Docker, Spring Boot, Open Shift, Quarkus.
- DevOps and Build Tools (Angular CLI/Maven).
- Knowledge of JQuery, Engineering Principles, Design patterns, Data structures, and Algorithms.
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behavior in a distributed team.
- Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient in conducting user research in foreign markets.
- Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
- Ability and willingness to coach and train colleagues and users when required.
