The Senior Design/Improvement Analyst is responsible for analysing and improving business processes, systems, and designs within the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in commerce, industrial engineering, or a related field to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks to assess and optimize workflows.
- Develop and implement design solutions that enhance productivity and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design improvements that align with business goals.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at process improvement and design enhancements.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision-making and support design improvements.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Work closely with various departments (e.g., Operations, IT, Marketing) to ensure design initiatives meet organizational needs.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote understanding and adoption of process improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and adjust strategies as necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field.
Experience :
- Minimum of (8-10) years of experience in process analysis, design improvement, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to execution.
