Job Description
A reputable company that offers a range of financial services seeks to employ an Investment Graduate to provide administrative support. Duties include managing all follow-up communication with clients, beneficiaries, third-party providers, and internal departments to ensure that investment and payment instructions are executed promptly and accurately. Suitable candidates will need to have above average mathematics in Grade 12 and completed a BComm Accounting degree.
Responsibilities:
- Collate all necessary documentation related to the administration of local and offshore investment instructions, including redemptions, switches, and share dealing.
- Ensure necessary authority is obtained and prepare and capture information on internal systems (Fundamental, and Climan/CRM system).
- Manage daily/monthly EFT payments to and on behalf of clients, including verifications, preparation, and capturing on internal systems (Cashman/CRM system).
- Review debit balances and assist Trust Officer in taking corrective action.
- Prepare client packs and onboard new clients, managing all client take-on documentation and loading it onto internal systems.
- Generate quarterly invoices for ad-hoc fees.
- Prepare trust administration requirements and manage all related payments.
- Provide timely responses to and resolution of client queries.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filings related to investment administration and advisory record keeping as per financial services legislation, ensuring compliance for all investment and payment instructions.
- Liaise with internal investment administration and support departments.
- Collate all client monthly and quarterly reports, as well as tax documentation per client.
- Coordinate and plan client events, handling all logistics, invitations, and venue coordination.
- Provide general secretarial support, including typing, filing, faxing, client correspondence, diary management, and event management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce degree or related.
- Above average mathematics in Grade 12.
- Intermediate computer literacy: MS Office suite and Excel at an intermediate level.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate initiative.
