We have a great opportunity for an email marketing executive to join a dynamic marketing team and help deliver an exciting email programme. We are looking for someone with creative flair, keen eye for design and able to craft compelling content while following brand guidelines and email best practice.
This role will support the UK Marketing team across a variety of businesses, to deliver the day-to-day communications as set out in our Email Marketing programmes, by tailoring copy and design to create engaging content as well as using data analysis to gain insight into how we can further optimise campaigns, to ensure we are targeting the right recipients, with the right messages.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Email Marketing Specialist and Marketing Managers across our family of businesses.
Requirements:
- Creation of compelling and engaging email content for marketing campaigns that adhere to email marketing best practices.
- Writing compelling and engaging marketing messages for the products and services as set out in the schedule.
- Support the Marketing Managers in designing and crafting engaging email content for both internal and external campaigns.
- Working alongside the email marketing team to issue email marketing campaigns, working to schedules as set out in each business’s plans.
- Image editing where necessary for use within email campaigns.
- Performing analysis of campaigns to improve future email content.
- Use of A/B Testing to revise email marketing campaigns based on performance indicators.
- Proofreading and testing all outgoing campaigns to ensure that they are of the highest standards.
- Working with the PR and Communications Manager to ensure branding guidelines are followed and consistent across campaigns for all businesses.
- Ensure emails follow best practice in content, layout, tracking and formatting.

- Knowledge of design software including Photoshop (preferable).

- Confidence pitching ideas or giving feedback to senior colleagues and peers based on your knowledge and expertise and work in a collaborative manner.
- Knowledge of GDPR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field/ equivalent qualification.
- A background in Marketing preferable, and ideally, educated to degree level.
- Experience writing effective copy or optimising copy to create compelling campaigns.
- A keen eye for design and great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS is beneficial.
- Intermediate skills in Google Office / MS Office Suite or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
