An exciting opportunity to work alongside exceptional practitioners in the Integrated Adult Mental Health Service as an Adult Mental Health Social Worker. The successful candidate will be based at Jeanette Wallace House, Croydon delivering Adult Mental Health interventions closely with our partners, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
The Adult Mental Health Service is a fast paced service, where we like to keep challenging ourselves to achieve best practice and outcomes. The team ethos is on coproduction and partnership working driving by core social work values while maintaining focus on Local Authority Statutory duties and Framework under the Care Act as well as other relevant statutes and codes of practice.
This is an exciting time to join the service as we embrace wide ranging service transformation with various opportunities for professional and personal growth as well as positive career progression. This post supports candidates already qualified as Approved Mental Health Professionals or aspiring to qualify as Approved Mental Health Professional working with the Croydon Council Approved Mental Health Professional Service voted the Council Team of the Year.

The Opportunities
In the context of developing our services to continue to meet the challenges of the current situation we are moving to Locality working with a clear emphasis on Strength Based working, including short and longer term work. You will have the opportunity to have training from Children and Adult directorates. You will receive a comprehensive induction, regular supervision from a name supervisor, practice learning sessions, appraisal and annual salary increment.
