Part-Time Accounts Administrator (Accounts Department) based in Barrow in Furness
We are seeking an accounts assistant with a recognised accountancy qualification (i.e. AAT level 3/ILFM or equivalent) or working towards one. You will have previous experience of working in an accounts office.
Experience in a law firm with knowledge of legal accounting principles, including compliance with the SRA Accounts rules would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided including external training qualifications.
You will have strong Microsoft IT skills with a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and the use of internet banking systems. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Exceptional accuracy/attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills with a positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Part Time working hours are 9am 1pm Monday to Friday or 1pm 5pm Monday to Thursday and 12:30am 4.30pm Friday (or any combination) with the flexibility to work additional hours to cover holidays and sickness.
