Business Architect (m/f/x) Global Trade Management Solutions
The position:
We are looking a Business Architect (m/f/x) for Global Trade Management Solutions to lead the solution design of SAP GTS modules. This role ensures alignment with critical business services in the supply chain while adhering to customs regulations in a dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for the global technical configuration of SAP GTS, incorporating regional requirements and overseeing compliance, trade and customs management, risk management, and integration with third-party tools.
- Configure and customize SAP GTS for critical supply chain services, focusing on compliance, customs, and risk management
- Integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules and third-party systems to ensure accurate data flows
- Ensure that the SAP GTS system complies with international trade regulations and standards incl. managing embargo checks, sanctioned party list screening, and export license management
- Handle technical configurations for customs declarations, managing import/export documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations, collaborating with technical support
- Conceptualize, implement and manage risk management functionalities in partnership with supply chain teams
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth SAP GTS operation
- Document system configurations in line with GxP requirements
- Lead or participate in SAP GTS projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements for system efficiency
- Utilize tools like SAP S/4 HANA and third-party systems for integration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment with a strong customer and service-oriented focus
- In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience knowledge of supply chain business processes, as well as trade compliance regulations and customs regulations
- Very good knowledge of SAP S/4 application and workflows
- Strong knowledge and technical expertise in SAP GTS
- Proven experience in managing internal and external suppliers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills as well as the ability to manage conflicts
- Good documentation skills and knowledge of GxP requirements
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in German or another European language is a plus
