The conference researcher will be responsible for the development of timely and relevant conferences in the marketplace. This will encompass topic research, speaker acquisition, content development and event management.
Conduct research and gather competitor intelligence to determine commercial viability and timing of a conference topic
Develop and finalise the conference programme within stipulated timelines
Identify and recruit appropriate speakers for the relevant conference
Speaker liaison before and after each conference
Oversee pre-conference preparation and on-site event management, dealing with speakers, delegates and sponsors alike
Maintain a strategic partnership with speakers, associations, government and academics
Communicate key conference information to the marketing team
Attend local and international conferences
Provide post conference reports and analysis, to generate new topic ideas for future events
Requirements

Education:
Degree Honours / Masters ( Required)
Experience: Research: 2 years (Required)
