Our ethos is centred around a human-centric philosophy, creating a supportive workplace where teamwork and commitment to our mission are at the forefront.
*Role Overview*
We're looking for a passionate, proactive, and compassionate *Clinical Director* to lead *Veteris Mobile*, our pioneering mobile unit delivering emergency veterinary care directly to pets in their homes. This executive role focuses on ensuring high standards of clinical excellence across all our mobile operations while providing leadership, mentorship, and support to our team of veterinary surgeons.
This position is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the quality of care Veteris Mobile provides, allowing us to expand our innovative care model and continue setting new benchmarks in mobile veterinary services. You’ll have significant autonomy to develop strategies and processes that directly impact our growth and reputation for excellence.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Continuous Quality Management*: Oversee and audit the performance of Veteris Mobile’s veterinary surgeons, conduct regular coaching sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality care, and address areas for improvement.
* *Clinical Engagement*: Balance leadership with hands-on clinical duties by maintaining a small but significant caseload to stay actively involved in patient care, ensuring practical insights when mentoring your team.
* *Team Development*: Lead the induction and onboarding process for new team members, developing comprehensive training and mentorship programs to integrate them seamlessly into the Veteris Mobile culture.
* *Complaint and Issue Resolution*: Provide expert medical guidance to operations managers to ensure all client and internal complaints are addressed with the most accurate and effective responses, identifying opportunities for continuous service improvement.
* *Collaborative Leadership*: Work closely with Veteris Shoreditch, operations managers, and the executive team to ensure cohesive integration of all business units, fostering a collaborative environment.
* *Recruitment and Growth*: Participate in the recruitment of talented veterinary surgeons to expand the Veteris Mobile team, promoting our ethos of progressive care and team unity.
* *Innovation and Equipment Management*: Keep the mobile unit's veterinary kits up-to-date with the latest technology and best practices, enhancing our capabilities to deliver exceptional care on the move.
*What We're Looking For*
* *Experience*: Significant experience in emergency and critical care is essential, with a proven track record of clinical excellence and team leadership.
* *Adaptability*: The ability to adapt to the unique challenges of mobile emergency care that has made our reputation. Be prepared to embrace new approaches to serve pet owners in innovative ways. This role requires a great deal of open-mindedness and a willingness to adapt to different scenarios in the field.
* *Leadership*: Strong ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team of veterinarians, guiding them to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
* *People Skills*: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a culture of support, learning, and collaboration within the team.
* *Change-makers*: We value candidates who are passionate about redefining the veterinary industry and are eager to contribute to our innovative care model.
